Will you be taking my dog on walks with other dogs?
All walks are individual walks.  Once I have spent a bit of time with your dog I will know whether he can be potentially paired up with another dog for walkies.  If this is the case then I would discuss this with the owners prior to this happening.

Where will you be taking my dog for a walk?
It all depends on two things:  Where you stay and what walk I fancy that day.  Generally I will take your dog to a familiar area to start with, so this would be the closest park.  Thereafter once he has got to know and trust me we may try a different park.  My walks are usually around Duloch Park and Woods, Pittencrieff, Townhill Loch and Park. Obviously if you are outwith Dunfermline, then I will look around for parks within your area.

My dog is mad on chasing the ball, is that ok?
Even better!  Most of the "walks" I do are more of a period of intensive exercise rather than an aimless walk!  So if your dog loves to chase a ball or frisbee then thats fine by me.  Alternatively if you don't want me to tire him out too much just say and I'll make sure they still have some energy left to enjoy a walk with you when you get home!

What happens if its raining?
We all get soaked!!  The good ole Scottish weather means that there is no point waiting on decent weather for a walk.  Walks will be carried out regardless of the amount of rain!  I have a good set of waterproofs and plenty of towels to dry the dogs off!  (But please leave extra towels of your own in the house too!)

If I am dropping off animals to board at Happy Paws, is there anywhere to park?
Just pull into the drive of my house.  I am directly across the road from the bus stop at Lynebank Hospital.  If you have a SatNav the postcode is KY11 4LB.

What happens if my pet becomes ill when in Happy Paws care?
I will automatically take them to the vets.  Once there I will try and contact the owner to let them know that their pet is ill.  Preferably I would take the animal to the vet they are already registered with, however this is not always possible and depends on how ill they are and how quickly they require treatment.
